I’m still quite new to the art world, only discovering I was an artist in late 2023 after fracturing my dominant wrist. Recovering from surgery after my injury was long and difficult; learning how to navigate the world without the use of my dominant hand was frustrating and exhausting. I sunk into depression, and I needed to find something to do to feel useful, to feel like I had some kind of purpose.

One day I just started sketching, then painting. I found that I loved it, and I just couldn’t stop! I started trying every medium of art that I had always wanted to try (but never thought I could do). Once I regained the use of my hand, I taught myself how to create relief prints, and now I find that printmaking is my passion.

I enjoy creating all kinds of art! I paint with acrylics and pastels, watercolor; I weave and make fiber art, I sculpt with papier-mache, but most of all I love printmaking. I like learning new things, and trying new and different ways to create!
